A Simple Recipe For Slow Cooked Stroganoff

Are you tired of the same old meals day in and day out? Dont feel like having pizza or fast food again? Well here is a great recipe that you and your family will love, and the best part is you can slow cook it and not really spend a whole lot of time preparing it. Slow cooker beef stroganoff is an excellent dish that can be made very easily with very little effort on your part.

All you need to make this dish is a pound of beef that is cubed for stew meat, a 10 oz can of condensed golden mushroom soup, half of an onion chopped into small pieces, a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, a quarter cup of water, and four ounces of cream cheese. Thats all you need to make this wonderful dish, nothing more, nothing less.

When youve got all the ingredients prepared and ready to be used, you can proceed to the next step which is combining the mean, soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and the water in your slow cooker. The slow cooking process is important because it helps lock in the flavor and does not overcook the meat that is being used in the recipe. You could cook the meat in the oven, but that would require that you be more accurate with how long it is being cooked. Cooking it too long could result in the meat being too dry. Youll want to slow cook this on low heat for 8 hours. If you dont have that much time, you can save a few hours by cooking it on high for 5 hours. When the time has expired, check the meat to make sure it is moist and tender, which I guarantee it will be. When it is finished, the final step will be to stir in the cream cheese.

In the end youll have a wonderful dish that you can serve over egg noodles or rice, whichever you and your family prefers. Your family will be ultimately impressed with this dish and youll always be able to use it when you need a great meal on short notice or if you dont have a lot of time to devote to cooking for your family.
