Two Quick And Simple Meals Using Bread

Sometimes you might be so busy finding the time to cook a good meal might be impossible. Food however is necessary to live and missing an important meal could leave you less energetic and unable to think or concentrate clearly. A microwave and pre made meal could help you out but the joy of home cooking is far more rewarding. You don't have to be the best at cooking either as there are some quick and simple meals anyone can make using bread as the main ingredient without much practice.

Sandwiches can be made using any bread and filling you have in the house, they are really quick to make and simple to. To make a sandwich you will need at least two slices of bread, some butter or margarine and some kind of filling. Firstly take out your bread and butter each slice on one side only. Some people like to cut the crusts off at this point however this is optional. Once your bread is buttered you can put the filling of your desire on one of the slices of bread and then place the other slice of bread down on top of it with the side you buttered facing down. You can then cut your sandwich if you like, this is just for presentation purposes and so that it is easier to eat. Generally sandwiches are cut either from corner to the other corner or straight down the middle and eat it, they can be halved or quartered.

Cheese on toast is a very simple meal but it does require some basic cooking with a grill or grill oven. For this simple meal two essential ingredients are required, bread slices and your favourite cheese. Firstly you will need to turn on your grill and place the bread underneath. While you are waiting for your bread to toast on one side you can grate your cheese ready to put on the other side, cheese slices can also be used. After the bread has been toasted on one side turn it over and cover the bread with cheese, then place it back under your grill. You will need to keep checking it to make sure the cheese melts nicely and does not burn. Once you're the cheese has melted over your toast you can take it out, turn off the grill and eat your delicious meal. Salt and pepper can also be added for extra flavouring.
