How To Prepare Kenya Kunde Recipe

Kenya Kunde Recipe is a popular vegetarian dish eaten by Kenyans and Ugandan. This page will guide you to make a Kunde dish for you family or guest.

This is one of my favorite Kenya Vegetarian Recipe.
If you are looking for easy vegetarian recipes or simple with a taste of the east Africa, this one's for you.
It may seem like there are quite a few steps to this recipe, but nothing is difficult.

The aroma that comes from your kitchen as it is cooking is amazing, so it's well worth the little bit of effort. And the taste is even better.

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE KUNDE

oil 2 T
Onion minced 1 each
tomatoes seeded, diced 2 cups
Black-Eyed Peas cooked 2 cups
Peanut Butter, natural 1/4 cup
water 1/4 cup
salt & pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS TO MAKE KUNDE

1.Heat oil over medium flame in a saucepan. Add Onion and saut lightly till translucent.
Add tomatoes and simmer about 5 minutes to cook down. 2. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Lightly mash the peas]] with a fork..
Simmer about 10 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.. Add more water as needed to get a stew-like consistency.

In conclusion therefore, are you, like me, becoming increasingly concerned about the fact that many of our children eat very little real food? There is more and more processed and ready to eat out of the package food available today, so much that some kids, and more than we want to believe I think, have little contact with real food, made with fresh ingredients. Therefore if you are in East Africa i.e. Kenya Tanzania and Uganda, dont forget to ask Kenyan Mkunde Vegetarian Recipe.

So whether you like it spicy, homey or ethnic, there is always something good for supper when foods with Mkunde recipe is on the menu using these tasty Kenya Tasty Ingredients.
